Trigify is shutting down: what to do before 22 October 2026
Trigify's standalone platform closes at 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026 after HubSpot hired its team. Accounts and data do not move to HubSpot. Before then, export everything you want to keep, list every automation that depends on Trigify, and pick a replacement for finding people who engage with LinkedIn posts.
What happened, in four facts
- On 23 September 2026 Trigify announced that HubSpot had hired its team.
- The standalone platform is being retired. Access ends at 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026.
- Accounts do not move to HubSpot. Trigify says your customer data will not be used by HubSpot as part of the move.
- Subscriptions will not renew past your service end date. Final billing details are being sent to each customer individually.
As of today, 2 October, that is twenty days. Long enough to do this properly, short enough that leaving it for the last weekend is a real risk. Exports of large histories take time, and support will be busiest at the end.
The countdown plan
Here is a dated plan. If you are reading this later, compress it, but keep the order.
By 6 October: get everything out
- Export every list and every lead. Use the in-app export for each tracked post, keyword and account. Do not assume one export covers everything.
- Export your configuration as well as your results. The lists of LinkedIn profiles, competitors and keywords you were tracking took months to build. Copy them into a spreadsheet even if there is no export button for them.
- Open each file and check it. Count rows against what the app shows. A truncated CSV discovered on 23 October is not recoverable.
- Store the files somewhere your team can find them, named with the date.
If anything fails to export, contact Trigify support now, not on the 21st.
By 10 October: map what breaks
Most teams forget this step. Trigify probably fed other tools. Write down every flow that reads from it.
| Check | Where to look | What breaks on the 23rd |
|---|---|---|
| CRM sync | HubSpot or Salesforce workflows, integration settings | New leads stop arriving, silently |
| Webhooks and Zapier/Make | Automation tool history | Scenarios error or run empty |
| Slack alerts | Channel integrations | Alerts stop, nobody notices for a week |
| Sequencer enrolment | Lemlist, Instantly, Apollo rules | Sequences starve of new contacts |
| Reports and dashboards | Anything counting "leads from Trigify" | Numbers drop to zero and look like a sales problem |
For each row, decide: replace, rebuild, or switch off. A flow that errors loudly is better than one that quietly stops, so turn off the ones you will not replace.
By 15 October: choose a replacement and run it side by side
Run the replacement on the same posts and keywords you tracked in Trigify while you still have Trigify to compare against. A week of overlap tells you whether the new tool finds the same people, more, or fewer.
By 20 October: cut over
Point your automations at the new source, check one lead flows end to end into your CRM, and cancel anything else tied to Trigify. Leave a day or two of slack before the deadline.
What should replace it?
There is no exact like-for-like. Trigify found people engaging with LinkedIn posts and other social signals, and turned them into leads. Replacements split by which half of that job they cover.
| Option | What it covers | What it does not | Good fit if |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Your CRM, and wherever the team's work ends up | Your Trigify account, which does not move | You will wait to see what HubSpot ships |
| PhantomBuster | Extracts LinkedIn post engagers, from about $56/mo (third-party) | Scoring and outreach; runs automation on your account | You want raw engager lists and will do the rest |
| Common Room | Social, community, website and job change signals, plus intent; from $2,500/mo annual | Low cost; sequencing | You are a funded team wanting a signal hub |
| Octolens | Mentions across Reddit, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and more; Pro $159/mo annual | Contact details | You want to listen, not prospect |
| Sluice | Engagers on public posts across eight platforms, scored against your profile, with contact lookup and drafts | Event signals like funding; CRMs other than HubSpot | You want the Trigify workflow end to end at a small-team price |
Be careful with any tool that automates actions inside your own LinkedIn account. LinkedIn's help centre says it does not permit software that scrapes or automates activity on its site, and accounts using such tools risk restriction. We cover what that means in practice in LinkedIn sending limits.
If you choose Sluice
We are biased, so here is the specific case. Paste a LinkedIn post you used to track in Trigify, and Sluice reads who engaged, works out who each person is, scores them 0 to 100 against your customer profile, and shows only those worth contacting with a link back to the post. Signals (phrases of three or more words) can replace keyword tracking, and Autopilot can run them on a schedule under a daily credit ceiling. HubSpot sync writes a note on why each person is a lead and keeps your customers from being cold-pitched.
What it will not do: event signals such as "raised money", Salesforce sync, or guarantee that platform access never changes. GummySearch closed in November 2025 when it could not reach a Reddit API deal, and any tool that reads public posts carries that risk. Pricing starts at $9 a month and Working is $39; see pricing, the side-by-side at Sluice vs Trigify, and other options at Trigify alternatives.
The one thing to do today
Export your tracked posts, keyword lists and leads, open the files and check the row counts. Everything else on this page can wait a week. That cannot.
